Frequently Asked Questions

Costs, subscriptions, privacy, and mailing

What does a letter actually cost?

The mailed-letter price depends on page count and whether you receive subscriber or non-subscriber rates. Mailing rates include printing and USPS First-Class postage; extra pages cost extra. See the current homepage mailing prices. Your final total is shown before payment. Processing fees and applicable taxes are calculated at checkout, and optional AI usage is charged separately where applicable.

Do I need a subscription to send?

No. You can create an account and pay to send physical mail without a subscription. Paid subscriptions provide plan benefits and subscriber savings. Neither a free account nor a subscription makes printing, postage, or optional AI usage free.

What happens to my contacts' addresses?

Addresses are stored in your address book to manage and send correspondence. Necessary recipient details are shared with the print-and-mail provider to fulfill your mailing. We do not sell recipient information or send recipient addresses to AI providers. Authorized family or company account relationships may allow shared access. Retention and deletion rules are explained in our Privacy Policy and Data and Security pages.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Go to Billing → Manage subscription to open the Stripe billing portal and request cancellation. Review the effective cancellation date and any access-until date shown in the portal or app; subscription benefits end according to that date. Ending a subscription is not the same as deleting your account, does not cancel mail already submitted, and does not reverse physical-mail charges or guarantee a prorated refund. You can still pay to send mail without a subscription.

Who prints and mails the letters?

A professional third-party print-and-mail provider handles production and mailing, currently Thanks.io. USPS handles postal delivery. Providers can change over time. This is separate from print-at-home, where you print and arrange delivery yourself. Learn what information is shared for fulfillment on our Data and Security page.

How do I send my first letter or card?

Create an account, add recipients to your Address Book, and create your correspondence. Write your message, use a template, or try optional AI assistance. Review the content, addresses and final price before submitting for printing and mailing.

How do I add or import contacts?

Add contacts directly or use the available import tools. With Google Contacts, you choose which contacts to import; MyLetterManager does not change or delete your Google contacts. Review names and mailing addresses before sending.

Do I have to use AI?

No. Write your own message or use a template. AI is optional. Review and edit AI-generated content before sending, especially names, dates, facts and artwork details.

How does delivery tracking differ from QR engagement?

Delivery tracking shows mailing-status updates. QR engagement records scans on eligible postcards and greeting cards. A scan does not prove postal delivery, identify the person scanning, or confirm a purchase.

How do I get help?

Sign in and use Support, or email admin@mylettermanager.com, including if you cannot sign in. Describe the problem, any error message and relevant order reference. Never send passwords or full payment-card details.
