Why cookies are used
Cookies and browser storage support sign-in, security, preferences, and the core operation of the correspondence service.
Essential versus optional use
Essential storage is required for the application to work. Optional HeyCatch analytics honors browser privacy signals and your analytics opt-out. Meta Pixel is on by default unless you opt out or signal a browser privacy preference. Optional Meta advertising cookies, such as _fbp and _fbc, may measure Facebook and Instagram ads on public pages.
Manage your choices
Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track, and an optional-analytics opt-out take priority. Turn off Meta tracking in the Privacy control to stop future tracking; this does not erase information already held by Meta. Browser settings can delete cookies. Private pages and tokenized links are excluded from Meta tracking.
New-account registration measurement
When Meta tracking is allowed on an eligible public page, we also send a CompleteRegistration event after a new account is successfully created. Viewing the sign-up form, signing into an existing account, and refreshing a page do not count as registrations. We do not send account identity or credentials with this event.
