Choose your type of product or service and explore ways to reach potential customers.

  2. Plan your search

What kind of product or service are you selling?

Find your business below for ideas on where to look for potential customers. These are search tips, not preset searches.

  • Restaurants

    Turn neighbors into regulars

Say hello to the homes closest to your door and give them a reason to come in this week.

Potential customers: Nearby residential addresses for your neighborhood invitation

How to search: Enter your restaurant’s address in Address Proximity Search and choose a nearby radius. Review the residential addresses in that neighborhood—these are the neighbors you could invite in, not restaurants to search for.

“We’re right around the corner. Bring this card for a neighborhood special.”

  • Pool companies

    Make a splash nearby

Reach homes in your service area with a friendly, seasonal offer for new customers.

Potential customers: Properties with a recorded pool in your service area

How to search: Enter a starting address in your service area and choose a radius in Address Proximity Search. Use the Pool filter (local only), set to Yes, to narrow returned properties to recorded pools. Unknown or conflicting pool details are not matches; coverage varies.

    Sample message
“Keep your pool ready for the weekend. Ask about our new-customer service special.”

  • Real estate agents

Offer a fresh approach to a long-listed home

Introduce your real estate services around active listings that have been on the market for a while.

Potential customers: Active for-sale listings with a longer time since listed

How to search: Choose Listing Search (for-sale only), enter an address in your market, and set a Minimum days since listed that fits your strategy—for example, 90. Review active listings that have been listed for a long time before offering your services. Listing age does not establish the owner’s interest or who occupies the property.

    Sample message
“Still planning your next move? Let’s talk about a fresh approach to marketing your home.”

  • Mortgage officers

Introduce yourself around a recent closing

Write to the homes near a closing address you choose, with a simple local hello.

Potential customers: Properties around a closing address you enter

How to search: Enter a recent closing address in Address Proximity Search and choose a surrounding radius. Review nearby residential addresses for a local introduction. You supply the address; the tool does not read your closing history.

    Sample message
“Your local mortgage resource, here when you have questions about your next move.”

  • Garage floors, cabinets & screens

Introduce your services to recently sold homes

Use recorded sale dates to find recently sold properties in your service area and introduce your garage, storage, and outdoor-space work.

Potential customers: Properties with a recorded recent sale in your service area

How to search: Choose Address Proximity Search and enter a starting address in your service area, or use Map Search to draw a circle. Before running the search, set Last sale on or after to the start of your preferred period—for example, a date 90 days ago. Optionally set Last sale on or before to an end date. Review properties with a recorded sale in that range. Recently sold does not mean newly built or confirm that a buyer has moved in.

    Sample message
“Make your space work for you. Ask about garage floors, cabinets, and screens.”

  • Larger-home services

Find homes that fit your services

Reach properties in the area you serve and let your offer do the talking.

Potential customers: Properties in the area you choose

How to search: Enter a starting address in your service area, then use the house-size range to narrow returned properties by recorded interior square footage. Minimums are inclusive; property size does not establish income or demand for your service.

    Sample message
“More space deserves a thoughtful plan. Ask about our home-service consultation.”

Questions, answered plainly

Can I search around an address?

Yes. Address Proximity Search finds property addresses within a radius of a starting address you enter. Results are bounded, not complete geographic coverage.

Can I find homes with pools, larger homes, or recently sold homes?

Yes. Enter your own area in Address Proximity Search and use the available filters. Pool and size filters narrow loaded results, not every home in the area. Unknown or conflicting pool details do not count as a pool match. Size minimums are inclusive. For recently sold homes, set Last sale on or after before running the search—for example, to a date 90 days ago—and optionally Last sale on or before. Sale-date criteria are sent with the paid property search; afterward, filters only narrow the loaded results. Recently sold does not mean newly built or confirm that a buyer has moved in. Construction-year and lot-size filters are unavailable. For properties listed for a long time, use Listing Search and Minimum days since listed; an inactive listing does not necessarily mean sold. You choose the tool, location, and criteria yourself; these ideas never configure or run a search.

Do I need customers’ names?

No. Imported generic addresses can use the delivery label “Current Resident”; an address does not identify an occupant or owner. It does not establish pet ownership, income, or interest in your offer. Review selected destinations, including apartment or unit details, before importing. New addresses must pass USPS verification review.

Can I review the cost before sending?

Yes. Ordinary users need an active paid subscription, and search availability depends on the current service configuration. Search fees are separate from the subscription and from mail charges; review the current fee in Audience Search before choosing to run a paid search. Opening the workflow does not start a search. Recipients, mailing, and pricing are reviewed in the correspondence workflow.

Can I save an audience for later?

Yes. Give the audience a name and confirm the import into your Address Book with its corresponding tag. Importing does not automatically create or send correspondence.
